Darby and JB’s Corinthian Yacht Club summer wedding was filled with joyful energy, vibrant florals, and sweeping views of Marblehead Harbor—everything you’d want from a classic New England celebration.

Some weddings just feel like home—and for Darby, that’s exactly what this was. Born and raised in Marblehead, it only felt right for her and JB to celebrate their wedding day at the Corinthian Yacht Club, surrounded by family, friends, and a whole lot of love.

Getting Ready at Corinthian

The day started at Corinthian Yacht Club, where the bridal party got ready on-site. Hair by The Designory Studio and makeup by Elizabeth Moran Beauty had the crew glowing and photo-ready, while still feeling like themselves. The rooms were filled with love, excitement and champagne of course!

Private Vows & Coastal Ceremony

Before the ceremony, Darby and JB shared private vows at CYC, tucked away from the noise with the harbor as their backdrop. Just the two of them, soaking it all in.

The formal ceremony followed at Chandler Hovey Park, with the Marblehead Lighthouse standing tall in the background. Guests gathered for a heartfelt exchange that was full of emotion, laughter, and coastal breezes—an unforgettable setting for their “I do’s.”

Cocktails & Reception at Corinthian Yacht Club

Post-ceremony, guests returned to Corinthian Yacht Club for cocktails on the deck—easily one of the best views on the North Shore. The sun set over the harbor while guests sipped signature drinks and mingled before dinner.

Inside the club’s dining room, we created a warm and inviting reception space using a mix of round and long tables and layered tabletop details from PEAK Event Services along with a TON of candles!

The custom seating chart by Alexandra Design Co. was a standout detail. It perfectly tied into the couple’s design and created a polished transition from cocktail hour into dinner.

A Bright, Coastal Design

Darby and JB wanted a wedding that felt classic and coastal, but not stuffy—so we leaned into a coral and dusty blue palette that popped against the natural seaside backdrop. We brought in pearl details, modern place settings, and a mix of long and round tables to keep the reception layout feeling dynamic and warm.

Flowers by Darlene created lush arrangements that played up the summery vibe with pops of color and texture throughout the ceremony and reception. Every bloom felt intentional, but not overworked—just like the couple.

Dinner, Dancing & A Packed Dance Floor

Dinner was intimate and heartfelt. The cake by Mic’s Cakes and Bakes was simple and stunning, with pearl detail accents that subtly echoed the rest of the day’s design.

And then… the party.

Men in Black Band absolutely brought it. From the first song to the last, the dance floor was never empty. They created that ideal mix of live performance energy and crowd-reading instinct that keeps guests moving and makes the night unforgettable.

True Color Productions was there to catch it all in motion—quietly capturing the big moments and the little ones we didn’t even realize were happening. The film is such a special keepsake from the day.
